Nicola Spirig wins the Zurich Triathlon

Nicola Spirig secures her victory in the Zurich Triathlon over the Olympic distance.
After her third competition since the birth of her third child in April, Spirig is happy: "Zurich is my home race and I know the track very well. I'm very satisfied with the start-finish victory and the third overall ranking," said the six-time European Champion. Spirig did not arrive from St. Moritz until the morning, and after the race she also returned directly to the heights. "After the good swim I was able to ride with the men on the bike course. Only whilst running I had some minor muscular problems".
The mother of three will compete the St. Moritz Triathlon (August 11th) and then start at the Grand Final of the Triathlon World Championship Series on August 31st in Lausanne.
